Privacy Policy

This is a plain-language draft for transparency. It is not legal advice; the binding version is reviewed by counsel before launch.

1. Who we are

Voltrachat ("we", "us") provides software that lets businesses automate conversations on their own connected social accounts. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

2. Data we collect

Account data — name, email, password hash, billing details.
Connected platform data — when you connect an Instagram (or other) account, we access messages, comments and basic profile data only to operate the features you enable.
Usage data — logs, device and analytics needed to run and secure the service.

3. How we use data

We process platform data only as described in this policy and as permitted by law, solely to deliver the features you turn on. We do not sell, license or purchase platform data, and we do not build advertising profiles.

4. Sharing

We share data only with (a) service providers acting on our instructions (hosting, payments) under contract, (b) where required by law, or (c) with your explicit consent. Each customer's data is isolated.

5. Deleting your data

You can request modification or deletion of your data at any time from your dashboard settings, or by emailing privacy@voltrachat.com. We action requests promptly. When you disconnect an account or close your workspace, we delete the associated platform data as soon as reasonably possible, unless retention is required by law.

6. Retention

We keep data only as long as needed to provide the service or meet legal obligations, then delete or anonymise it.

7. Security

Access tokens and secrets are encrypted at rest; access is least-privilege and audited. No system is perfectly secure, but we apply industry-standard safeguards.

8. Your rights

Depending on your region (GDPR/KVKK and others) you may access, correct, export, restrict or erase your data, and object to certain processing. Contact us to exercise these rights.

9. International transfers & changes

Where data crosses borders we use appropriate safeguards. We may update this policy and will post the new date above.
